Founders Lane

Founders Lane is a multi-storey residential and commercial complex located in the ACT. This development comprises of three towers, with the main tower rising to 8-12 storeys and the other two towers standing at six storeys. The buildings share a podium level and three basement levels, with retail and commercial spaces located on the ground level and level 1 of the main tower. The rest of the levels above are dedicated to 320 residential units.

Indesco was responsible for the structural and civil engineering aspects of this project. We designed the structure using a combination of prestressed and reinforced concrete flat decks and a banded system for the transfer deck, podium, and basement levels. The structure is supported by concrete columns, blade walls, and precast panels.

To ensure a cost-effective and efficient design, we completed around 9000m^2 of precast shop drawings and temporary designs for the project. We also coordinated closely with the tower crane capacities and site restrictions, which helped us to deliver a successful outcome for this development. Our scope of works also included post tension design, shoring design, value engineering, and civil engineering.
