Arena Apartments - Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle

Indesco was contracted to provide expert structural engineering services for the Arena Apartments located on Shortland Esplanade in Newcastle, NSW. Our team worked closely with the consulting engineer to develop the structural concept and sizing for the concrete structure of the development.

Our scope of work also included providing detailed post-tensioned design and documentation for both the North and South Towers. Specifically, we delivered the design and documentation for the North Tower to the builder, while providing the same services for the South Tower to a post-tensioning subcontractor.

The Arena Apartments project consisted of two buildings, with the larger of the two featuring seven basement carpark levels, a residential podium, and a fourteen-storey residential tower. We are proud to have been a part of this impressive development and to have contributed to its successful completion.
