We're excited to highlight the ongoing development at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Queensland, a project aimed at significantly improving healthcare infrastructure for the region.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬:
🔸 4 new floors built on top of the existing Emergency Department
🔸 249 more acute inpatient beds, including 30 extra ICU beds
🔸 13 new cancer treatment bays and specialist treatment spaces
🔸 Refurbished admission & recovery area for the cardiac catheter lab
🔸 Expanded medical imaging, pharmacy, and kitchen facilities
This project is being developed by Queensland Health, with architectural design by Woods Bagot and construction by John Holland.

We are proud to be providing Facade Engineering Services, including:
🔸Performance-based design brief F3P1
🔸Weatherproofing and waterproofing analysis and reports
🔸Detailed mark-ups on architectural plans, window schedules, and façade details
🔸Construction administration support, including shop drawings & engineering calculations review
🔸Final commissioning and handover reports
This expansion will enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide critical care and treatment, ensuring that patients benefit from top-tier facilities and medical services.
