Indesco was engaged by EPSDD to prepare a Site Investigation Report and associated due diligence studies required for future Eastlake development areas, between the Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Kingston Foreshore and the Rail Corridor. The outcomes of this work will inform future Government decisions on the timing, staging, extent and type of urban renewal in this area of Kingston and Fyshwick, with a primary focus on preparing for additional housing supply in the inner south.
The gap analysis undertaken by the Indesco team provided the client with a clear and concise list of recommendations for further investigations suggested to be undertaken to complete the due diligence assessment of the Site with an opinion of cost for each investigation recommended.
Urban renewal areas lead the way in the implementation of best practice sustainability measures from tree preservation and water sensitive urban design right through to climate change adaptation strategies, improved active travel facilities to promote healthier lifestyles and a stronger and more efficient public transport network. The East Lake, Kingston and Fyshwick site redevelopment will be no exception.
