The 2017/2018 Financial Year saw an outstanding period of growth for Indesco. Celebrating a 30 year partnership with the MBA, we completed a number of landmark projects including:
- Henry Rolland Park, West Basin Boardwalk – Stage 1
- Moncrieff Pedestrian Bridge, Maintenance tracks and Amaroo School Paths
- World Peace Bell
Our civil design and construction teams completed a number of large scale developments across the ACT, most notably:
- ACT Healthy Waterways
- Taylor Residential Estate
- The Precinct, Red Hill
In Sydney, we continue to be actively involved in the urban renewal of Liverpool, Blacktown and The Hills Shire.
Our construction team has also been busy on site managing the construction of a residential estate in Denman Prospect.
Our structural team has worked on a record number of key projects this year, including:
The Indesco landscape team recently had a major project win with the 2019 Floriade design. The team have been working both independently and in collaboration with our engineering teams on numerous complex projects this year including:
- Henry Rolland Park
- Hume West Stage 2A
- Lawson South Open Space Masterplan
- Denman S59, Block 4 Multi Unit Development
In addition to our projects, our people have had a great year, John Randall marked 30 years with Indesco in July 2017. Under John’s leadership we welcomed Darren Benson as a Senior Construction Manager, Anna Nagalingam as a Director and most recently, Angus Gorman has stepped up to succeed John as our Managing Director.
The Indesco team also enjoyed many social events throughout the last financial year including our annual Family Day and Christmas Parties. We also took part in a number of charity events including the Mothers Day Classic (raising money for breast cancer) and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea (raising money for the Cancer Council). We wrapped up the 2017/2018 social calendar with our annual end of financial year cocktail party.
